In 1942, to escape the persecution of Jews by the Nazis, Anne and her family went into hiding in a secret annex in Amsterdam. During this time, Anne wrote her diary, which gives a detailed account of her life in hiding.

Anne wants to keep a diary as she doesnt have friends.She needs some channel through which she can get rid off all the burden and pain she is suffering from. Hence she wants to keep a diary. Anne Frank is searching for a friend in the form of her diary.

 Anne Frank named her diary "Kitty". She personified her diary as a trusted friend and confidante, writing 60 letters to it during her time in hiding from the Nazis. Answer :- 
Anne Frank, in her diary, mentions that teachers are unpredictable. Mr. Keesing, her math teacher, initially appears strict and punishes Anne for talking too much in class. However, he later shows a sense of humor and appreciation for Anne's creativity, which makes him unpredictable.

He also tries to control her bad habit of talking too much but as soon as he is convinced that her habit does not affect her studies, he overlookes her shortcoming.

✍️ Answer. Anne wrote a story in the form of an essay and it was in verse. It was a story of the father swan who killed its three baby swans because they quacked much.

The difference was obvious and Mr. Keesing understood that this time father swan was he himself which made him realise what the children thought and what the wanted. He did not become angry but took it in a right way and the stopped giving any further extra work to Anne.

✍️ Answer. Anne wanted to maintain a diary because she did not have a 'real' friend. She thought that paper had more patience than people. She had loving parents a sixteen years old sister and about thirty people whom she could call her friends.

However, she did not have that are true friend. She did not confide in any of her friends she knew the situation would never change, so she decided to keep a diary.

✍️Answer. The time of declaration of the annual results was coming closer and the teachers were going to hold their annual meeting in which they were going to decide that which of the students would be promoted to next class and which would not.

As a result, the students were nervous because of the worries of their future. She felt that at least half of them should not be promoted to the next class. But she also felt that teachers are the most unpredictable persons on earth.

✍️ Answer. Anne frank had the habit of talking in the class. Her maths teacher, Mr. Keesing was annoyed with her. So, one day Mr. Keesing gave her extra homework as punishment. He asked her to write an essay on the subject 'A chatterbox' she gave funny arguments in her essay.

She wrote that it was a trait of a student to talk. Moreover, it was an inherited habit and she could not get over it. Mr. Keesing liked the essay. But Anne talked again for the class.

This time Mr. Keesing asked her to write an essay on the topic 'Quack, Quack', Quack said mistress chatterbox' Anne wrote this essay in the verse form. He read out it to the class and in other classes also. After that he stopped punishing Anne.
